Overview

This guide helps you resolve the "QAA.xla missing" error in Infor Sun when the Q&A application is disabled in Microsoft Excel.

Error Message

You may see an error similar to:

"QAA.xla missing" or "Add-in not found"

Resolution Steps

The Q&A application may be disabled in Microsoft Excel. Follow these steps to re-enable it:

Step 1: Open Excel Options

  1. Open Microsoft Excel
  2. Click File
  3. Select Options

Step 2: Access Disabled Items

  1. Click Add-ins (from the left menu)
  2. At the bottom of the screen, find the Manage dropdown
  3. Select Disabled Items from the dropdown
  4. Click the Go button

Step 3: Enable QAA Add-in

  1. The Disabled Items window will appear
  2. Look for QAA.xla or QAA in the list
  3. Click to select/highlight it
  4. Click Enable
  5. Click OK

Step 4: Restart Excel

  1. Close Microsoft Excel completely
  2. Open a new Excel window
  3. Test Infor Sun again
