Common Flight questions

How do I check the ticket deadline?

The ticket deadline can be found in the TKTG field or *TD box in a PNR

What if the ticket deadline is the same as the day of departure when I’m pricing?

This can be a bit confusing. The airline will return a different ticket deadline when the PNR has been completed so you need to check the *VR (airline messages) for confirmation

Or you can assume 3 days from booking if a published fare, or 1 month before departure if an ITX fare.

How do I check baggage allowances?

On a ticketed PNR, the best way is to use #VT  This brings up a webpage where it is displayed. You can then click on the baggage icon to be taken to the airline website to find more details

Or it will be hidden within the fare quote , B- 1PC means 1 piece of baggage
