How to connect to Azure VPN
In this document you will be guided through how to connect to our new Azure VPN application, please follow the steps accordingly:
Note: This connection will only work outside of Scott Dunn Office!
- Please click on start menu
2. Then start typing Azure VPN Client as shown below:
3. Click open on this application or click the application under best match
4. You will then be taken to the home screen of the Azure VPN Client as shown below:
5. You will then see Scott Dunn VPN Connection on left hand side but disconnected
6. Click on this and press connect as shown below:
7. You will then be presented with a new window that will prompt to login with your work account as shown below;
- Click on your name and press continue at the bottom.
8. You will then be prompted to authorise multi factor authentication, depending on how you have this setup it will either be a push notification to Microsoft authenticator app or a text message to your personal phone, please approve this as quickly as you can as shown below:
Note-Sometimes Multi-factor authentication may not come up if you have already don’t this recently for any other application like teams or outlook, so please do not be alarmed if you do not see the above image, it will just connect.
9. Once you have authorized the MFA then the VPN client will continue to connect as shown below:
10. To make sure your connection is stable you must keep the Azure VPN Client open but minimized on your task bar as shown below, this cannot be fully closed otherwise you will get disconnected from VPN and will require to start again from number 1 of this guide!
11.Once you are finished then please press disconnect in the Azure VPN Client as shown below:
