This is a step-by-step guide on how to enrol resort phones  for Intune. This policy will be solely for the Resort Team, the profile will be restricted to a point where we can only make the changes. The Resort Team will have to come to us if they need any modifications done in terms of the Corporate work profile. All applications and modifications are set by the IT Team.


Please note, in this process, you will need to log to 2 accounts, to loginto these accounts you'll need a temporary access pass instead of a password. Please make sure to request them from IT before starting this process. Also to note, this pass is only valid for 1 hour from the time of activation, please request accordingly.



Please check with IT for accounts to be used to setup phones as per your resort.

Enrol a device to Intune

Step 1- Switch on the phone, and you should be presented with a screen similar to this one below.



Step 2- Because I do not have a sim card inside of the phone I am able to skip this part. If you have inserted a sim card, go through the options until you see the screenshot in step 3.


Step 3- Next you’ll be greeted with a screen to connect to a network (Wi-Fi). Please connect to the available wi-fi.




Step 4- Accept and continue.



Step 5- Please click ‘don't copy.'




Step 6- Next you’ll be greeted with a page from Google to sign in. Instead of using an email address you’ll need to input “afw#setup” - DO NOT input an email address. Google will recognise that you want to use Intune to manage the device by inputting afw#setup.



Step 7- Click ‘Next’


Step 8- Select ‘While using app’


Step 9- Below is the  QR or the code, this will register the device onto Intune.

  • Scan the QR from the image below: 

  • NOTE- If you can't scan the QR Code, please enter the Token: GUZRZPNN



Step 10- Accept and continue




Step 11- Please go through those steps below. Click ‘More.'




Step 12- Click ‘More.'



Step 13- Click ‘Accept.’ This will be an option instead of more the second time.

Step 14- Enter your Scott Dunn email address.

For next step, please ensure to get the temporary access pass for this account from IT team as you are setting this outside of company network also so you don't have to use the password.




Step - Enter your temporary access code provided by IT.

Step 17- Go through the work checklist. Click ‘Set up'.


Step 18- Select the pattern of your choice. Make sure if you are setting a childcare device you need keep this same pattern for all childcare devices.




SKIP- Fingerprint setup when prompted for it.

Step 19- Next, to install work apps. When you click onto install work apps, it will do this part for you. Once done click done to take you back to the menu below.

Step 20- Select ‘Set up’ under register your device.

Step 21- Click ‘Sign in’


Step 22- Click ‘Continue.'

- Enter the temporary access code provided by IT

Step 23- Click ‘Register.'


Step 24- You may need to click continue a few times until you finally reach the screenshot below. I noticed the set up can loop sometimes, so it may require you to click continue a few times more than you should.



Step 25- Now… click ‘Next’ to register your device. Once registered you’ll notice a tick beside the option.


Step 26- Click onto ‘Personal Mobile Device’, and click ok.

Step 27- Now that both steps are done you can click ‘Done.'

Step 28- You’ll now be greeted with the welcome screen as you can see below. You should all now be good to go. Please note: The required applications will install automatically, so you will not need to install manually.

Keep the phone on until all the applications status changes from install to completed.

Step-29 Open google app, Log into google with the resort contacts, for pinecliffs it is -  [email protected] once it revognises that it is a scott dunn account it will ask you to enter the email once again. Select yes to stay signed in prompt.

Even for this account, instead of password you'll need to enter the temporary access pass, please request one with IT.

After you have logged in, follow the below to ensure google sync is enabled.


  • Under all services, scroll down and look for Google Contact Sync, click on it. Move the toggle to right to enable sync.




  • The setup for Childcare phone is now complete.
