How to configure Scott Dunn profile on iPhone
Pre-requisites-
- Set up the Microsoft Authenticator App
- Please ensure your iPhone is updated! Settings -> General -> Software Update
A. Setting up Intune company portal-
1. Once your iPhone is on the latest version and the authentication app is set-up
2. Go to App Store and search for "Intune company portal" and hit download , it will show up as below in the app store
3. Once downloaded, will show up as below on the homescreen
4. After opening the app, it will show the sign in options as below, CLICK ON SIGN IN
4. As soon as you click on sign in, it will automatically take you to the Microsoft Authenticator app.
Provided that the authenticator app is already set-up for you. You company email in the app should show up on the top ( as shown below )
5. Click on your email and it will ask you for you password as below, once you enter the password and it's authenticated. (Please note: In some cases it might ask you for an extra authentication step, for example to authenticate via OTP)
6. Once the authentication is done, it will automatically take you back to the Intune company portal app and will show option as below. CLICK OK
7. After you click OK on the above, in some cases apple may send an additional pop-up to allow notifications. Make sure to allow the notifications to stay up to date. Once allowed.
Now you are in the company portal and it will look as below (1). To view all the apps managed by Scott Dunn click on view all Apps and it will show you the list of all the applications available (2) via Intune for example, outlook teams etc.

B. Set up an App available in the company portal
1. Click on the app you want to download (for example Outlook in this case), once clicked it will take you to the option to install (as shown below). Click install.
2. Once you click install, apple will send you a notification as below (A) to confirm installation, once confirmed. Outlook will be downloaded and show up on the home screen as below (B).

- Once the installation is complete, click on the app and you will see the welcome page as below (2),
- Open the app and it will show as below (3) Click on add account, once clicked it will show you your Scott Dunn account with an option to " Add account" as below (4).

When you click on add account as shown in image 4 it will ask you to take you to the Microsoft authenticator click on "open authenticator", wait for the app to authenticate automatically (IF ANY, follow the instructions on app screen).
Once the authentication is complete it will automatically take you back to outlook and you will see the below messages CLICK OK for both.
You have now successfully set-up emails on your phone.
Make sure to allow/ enable when Apple / Microsoft prompts for " if to allow notifications"
Following the same steps, you can set-up MS Teams from the Intune company portal
Android Users
- Ensure you are set up on the latest update version of Android. If not, please update (Update settings location will vary on make and model of your phone)
- Ensure you are already enrolled in the Microsoft Authenticator App
Install Company Portal App
1. Tap the Google Play Store.
2. Search and Install the Intune Company Portal.
3. When prompted about app permissions, tap ACCEPT.
Enrol Device with Intune Company Portal
1. Open the Intune Company Portal app and sign in with your work account's credentials.
When prompted, use your Microsoft Authenticator to complete the sign in. If you are unable to use your Authenticator app for any reason, you can opt for an SMS verification code within the 'I can't my Microsoft Authenticator app right now' option:
Another prompt occur to review the the notification permissions - you can set it at this time, or adjust this later within your app Settings.
2. Upon sign-in, the app will then walk you through 3 steps to configure your Scott Dunn access - tap Begin.
3. The app will then go over Privacy settings, as they pertain to your personal data on your device - please review this, and tap Continue.
4. Your work profile will then load momentarily. When completed, tap Continue.
5. The app will then begin step 2, Setting up your work profile - once completed, tap Next.
6. Step 2 is now complete, tap Continue.
7. Intune will then check your device settings to ensure it is up to date for Step 3. Tap on Confirm Device Settings to begin:
8. Once completed, tap Confirm Device Settings once more, then tap Done to complete Enrolment:
Installing Work Apps
1. After completing the setup above, you will land on the following page by design:
2. Click on the 3 lines on the top left to open the menu and tap Get Apps.
3. You will be taken to the list of available Company Portal apps:
4. From here, you may install your desired apps, which will be linked only to your work account. To access your Work Profile on your device, you can navigate to your Apps > Work profile, and your available Work apps will appear as shown below:
5. You're all set - If you would like to unenroll your device, you can do so by clicking your device in the list within Intune and Remove Device from the three dots on the top right.
