To Reset/Change Password or Unlock Account, Follow this step by step guide:




1) Go to Password Reset/ Unlock Account portal. This is an external link, so even if your account is locked or password expired, you can access it (even from your smartphone.)

2) Provide your email address (1) and prove you're not a robot (CATPCHA) (2)



If you require a new Captcha Code (2) or need it to be read aloud (1), Press the corresponding buttons:



3) You will be presented with two options. 

  • Option 1 - Forgotten Password. This will reset your password and allow you to choose new one, Please use Option 1 in the case of an expired password.
  • Option 2 is to unlock your account.



4) You will need to go through Two Step Verification process to confirm your identity. 

  • To do this, you will be asked to provide two factor authentication code or approve it via Windows Authentication App, (depending on the Setup of your MFA). 
  • In the example below, a user will have the option to get the 1st code on their personal email address and 2nd on their mobile (via text/call). 

   Please follow instructions on your screen as you go along. (the process can differ from user to user)


5) If you are resetting your password (or changing an expired one):

  • You will see windows, as shown below, where you provide your new password. 

            (Please remember to follow Password Policy when choosing your passwords). 


5a) If you are unlocking your account:

  • You will see a note that your account has been unlocked!



Optional step - Home Worker/Password Change Out-of-Office


If you are resetting your password while working from home (remotely), your password will not change on your system(s). This is because a connection to the company network is required to enforce the changes. 


As using 2 passwords is difficult and impractical, Follow the steps below to rectify this issue:



1) Run VPN client - you can find it in menu start as "Azure VPN client"


2) Click connect




3) Once VPN is connected, your computer will contact with company servers over VPN to update the password on your local computer

  • Please verify this. Lock your Computer using Windows key* + L, which will bring you to your login page where you provide your new password.
